Day Retreats

 Unwind and Reconnect

"Reconnect Definition:
to join or be joined with something else again after becoming separated"

Sometimes the busyness of life with commitments, to do lists, and processing the various curve balls life entails,  often results in our own need for self-care and restoration falling by the wayside leaving us feeling ungrounded and disconnected from ourselves.

If you are feeling the need to slow down, reconnect with your body, your breath, nature and the gentle company of others on a similar journey to you, then these day retreats may be just what you need.

Nestled up on the South Downs Warterhall nature reserve just 15 minutes outside of Brighton, south of Devils Dyke, the former golf Clubhouse provides a peaceful, quiet space for these days, surrounded by nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city with stunning views across the

re-wilded golf course.

1/2 Day Summer Retreat

Enjoy a mindful hatha yoga practice outside in the summer sunshine and fresh air taking in the expansive views of the South Downs.  Break for a drink and snack (tea/herbal tea/vegan homemade treats/fruit) optional short walk through the beautiful grounds, or simply sit and take in the scenery.

We then retreat inside for a deeply relaxing and immersive sound bath including harmonics from crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes and more.

The yoga practice will help you feel rejuvenated and grounded in your body. Starting gently from the ground up, we will mindfully build up to explore standing postures and slow flowing sun salutations - 'surya namaskar' to  welcome the vibrancy and vitality of the sun energy, winding back down close to the earth for gentle somatic movement, restful postures and reclined pranayama (breathing) practice to fully unwind and let go.

Suitable for all levels with options and modifications given.

As you recline for the sound bath - a full body listening experience, enter a space of stillness and surrender with the healing vibrations from the crystal and Tibetan bowls, shamanic drum and subtle harmonics, providing deep relaxation inviting a meditative state of calm, clarity, and renewal.

'I practise yoga with Camilla on a regular basis, so when she shared that she was running a mini retreat, I knew it would be good - but the experience she created was really very special.

There was a beautiful countryside location; a room filled with joyful people of all ages and abilities, taking time to connect with themselves and each other;

a yoga practice that was inclusive and restorative, with plenty of options to step it up or keep things restful;

and a sound bath that seemed to stop time - I have no idea where that hour went. I can't wait for the next one.'

'I recently attended this yoga and sound bath day retreat and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The whole atmosphere was calm, welcoming and beautifully supportive, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the time.

The yoga taught by Camilla was thoughtful and inclusive, suitable for different levels.

The setting was peaceful and restorative, and everything was organised with great care and attention to detail.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this day yoga and sound bath retreat to anyone looking to reconnect with themselves in a supportive and uplifting environment. I will definitely be booking again.'

— Sarah, Brighton
