This 12 minute guided meditation focuses on the seven main energy centres in the subtle body called 'chakras'.  Starting at the base of the spine, we move up to the crown of the head, breathing into each energy centre and visualizing it's related colour. This combination of breathing and visualisation will help your mind to stay focused yet relaxed known in yoga as 'dharana' or concentration.

 

This takes us out of the busy moneky mind and helps promote calm, relaxation and rejuvenation.

 

 

Practice this meditation anytime you want to find connection with your body and ground and calm your energy.

 

Be sure to sit upright for meditation either on a chair with your feet flat on the ground or a comfortable seated floor posture such as crossed legs.

Don't lye down for meditation as it is likely you will fall asleep.

 

Practicing meditation regularly brings long lasting benefits in the body, mind and spirit , helping us to become more self aware and in touch with ourselves.
